I could build -six- bass drums from the lumber used in just those two!

Patrick Keeler from The Raconteurs. His stainless Ludwig set was 26 and used 24 Giant Beats.
Me..... :)

Hey Mike, I always love seeing pix of that kit. 1-up, 2-down is my favorite set-up. I play with Blues bands and that set-up gives you a heavy bottom-end sound. Perfect for Rock & Blues.

PS - take those funky ear-plugs off the tom next time you photograph them! LOL
Ear wax never adds to the mystique. Cool Dude
LOl my bad... will do this set was a killer as well

OH YEAH! :),I,ve got a Ludwig Centennial "Zepp" kit but with 13" INSTEAD of 14"&WOOD snare INSTEAD of 6.5 supra! :(.I,ve also got a 24" Paiste GB(Giant Beat) i,m hoping to buy GiantBeaters 24" "black label" 70s Paiste GB BUT he reckons it,s 'too difficult" to ship to Australia(where i,m from) ! :(.I dunno if he,s tried FED EX or DHL or UPS/USPS!.
I've shipped to OZ several times. For some sellers, it's not the carrier that's the problem, it's all the paperwork you have to fill out before you can ship. UPS has a three page customs form for example. It's easier to do the paperwork necessary to buy a house than it is to ship a small package to OZ sometimes. Don't be hard on the guy. For 'some' it can be a real hassle.
Hope you get your Paiste...
John
Ta Johnno mate(in "Auss/Oz) it,s common for us to add "o" to the end of a name! :).I understand the diffuclties in shipping from overseas BUT if a seller can ship to me from Netherlands 5 different cymbals then i really fail to fathom/understand WHY some sellers can,t even bother attempting or trying! :(.I,m NOT refering to GiantBeater by the way! :) i also hope i get it(Paiste) ! :).Maybe i should open up an account with either DHL,Fed Ex,USPS for my business &use it to ship to here? ! :).
