I believe the various WFL badges were used from 1937 through 1959. It's my understanding that the Ludwig "transitional" (blue & gold) badge was also installed on some of its drums, starting in 1958. However, from what I've researched, by 1960 this badge was no longer used. Hopefully, the WFL/Ludwig "experts" out there will correct me if I'm wrong.
