Anyone else tired of constantly seeing posts like.... Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Well, posts like "check out these so and so's or such and such's on craigslist/ebay/goodwill"?? I know I am. Especially when the person posting the "tip" is not even the one selling the stuff! Let me clue some of you in....I am on a computer right now to post on this forum. I know how to use it. I am quite capable of searching the internet to the various well known and not so well known sites to look for drums, etc. all on my own. I don't need help in that. I, as well as others here, can figure it out without using up valuable server space on the forum's server to announce to the community that you found something that may possibly interest a few of us here. If its yours, then great! Post it in the for sale section of the forum, that's what its there for! Otherwise, leave it be. If I'm in dire need of it, I will have already found it out there!

Dude. Do you need a hug? You go away, for whatever reason, then come come back, then leave, then come back (rinse, repeat). Whilst you're back, you complain about how this forum works and with what whom posts what. WTF? If this place bothers you so much, why not just change the channel? I don't get your positions. You're concerned about space on the server, so, stop wasting it.

New people will come and go (all are welcome); some to learn, some to earn. You really need to learn how to ebb and flow. Get over it, or get another hobby. I hear the Vintage Quilting site is something to behold and they welcome open stitches.

Looking forward to yer' next complaint.

Only been part of this forum for about a year and never heard of you but I think maybe your handle should be "'ol **** and vinager dude". I agree that sometimes the posts are kind of redundant but every once in a while someone will point something out thats been changed or screwed up on a drum or a piece of hardware that maybe someone on the forum didn't have any knowledge of. I know i've seen things that weren't right and I've seen things that I had no idea anything was wrong. Aren't we all here to learn about vintage drums and offer up what knowledge we have to help other members try to figure it out. I've only read a couple of your posts and seen anything knowledgable.

Like AZBill said, if you don't like the channel change it. Some people aren't happy unless their not happy.

Do some searching then young squire, the Ludwig-dude knows all about Ludwig, some about Leedy, some about Slingerland, and a little about Rogers drums too. ;)

Never said you didn't know anything just said the only posts I've seen were nothing but whining about other members that might not put up posts worthy of your greatness.

I personally don't mind posts about gear listed elsewhere. That is how I now own a Rogers 4 piece Wildwood set (with matching wood Powertone snare) and a matching Dynasonic Wildwood snare. Also the final 12" Sonor Teardrop Ruby Pearl tom to complete another set.

I do look myself, but sometimes someone else has seen what I want, and I appreciate the head's up.
