Authentic Slingerland floor Tom? Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Thought I would check with the experts -

Did Slingerland make a center lug 14"floor Tom in the 60's? I'm looking at one that has the 60's Niles badge, a 3 ply shell with re-rings, shell has that "chocolate milk" finish on the interior with the P stamp for pearl wrap finish. Everything suggests Slingy but I've never seen that center lug design, always 6 or 8 on top and bottom.

yep!! stage band series. 14x14 center lugs, their answer to Ludwigs club date.

Thanks!! Any hit on value for that series? Looks like the same basic drum with just the different lug configuration.

just as Ludwig did. yes Slingerlands version of same drum shells less hardware, they sale in the $200-$400 range condition, originality and how bad you want it all into the cost equation!

Thanks again. I'm going to buy it and add it to my matching blue agate Slingy set. Have been looking for a blue agate 14" floor tom for quite some time!
