Paiste 505s are AWESOME. That (my 20" 505 ride) is the first Paiste I ever decided to keep - 28 years after starting to drum. I decided to keep it and sell my 70s Zildjian "A" Ride. That says alot about the 505 rides. It's just so darn PRETTY sounding.

Ok, I now see he said "Not pretty" but I at least can testify that it will likely be pretty SOUNDING :)

Thanks for the recommendation John. Yeah, I've never been a cymbal cleaner, but if you are, I imagine you could get these to look pretty good. But you're right they sound excellent.

The Paistes really are great sounding cymbals, and the K is quite a deal already. Trades won't really work for me, as I'm trying to fund some really difficult-to-find items, and I need the $$$.

Just sold a 16 crash and 18 Medium Greg.....Would of gave you a deal if I'd known you were looking for 505's....
