If i was you i would never ship to italy.Its only problems that will come your way.I have been selling on ebay for 10+ years and most of my problems have come from italy.I even state in my listing NO Shipping to Italy.Their mail servise is so,so bad takes weeks for your item to get their and thats just on parts.I would think drums would be more of a problem.So the bottom line is ITALY is much Worse to ship to.I know many Ebayers who are like me they don't ship to Italy..The only issues with Australia is shipping time it take many weeks but the item gets their.I have shipped many items to Australia with no problems with the buyers.I have even shipped parts to members on this forum that live their.The only way i would ship to Italy is if you know the buyer then maybe you should ship.Other places that me and alot of Ebayers will not ship to is Spain,Frence,and i just added Germany....Mikey

Apart from the shipping time.. I'm not aware of any problems from US or UK to Australia.. Most Aussies do accept this as "Par for the course". as we are on the other side of the planet. I have purchased many items from both countries and shipping can take from 5 days to 3 weeks through normal international post. Fedex can be 2-3 days but is very expensive..

(In 1855 my GG Grandfather took 4 months at sea from Boston Lincolnshire, to settle here).. He did not complain either..
