I just got this rogers holiday kit recently , and i'm far from being up to speed on Roger. The floor tom has a mount on the top of the floor tom , i'm just not sure if that was a factory addition for a cow bell or something like that. Or maybe it was added by some one thinking it was a good ideal at the time.

It's a factory cymbal mount I think is pretty cool - but something @ yours doesn't look right to me : doesn't line up w/ the leg mount ... is this usually the case though.?. Wish my onyx FT had one -

It was a factory option, but store/drummers would put them later as well. I did that with 2 floor toms on a rewrap to save on floor stands.

I was thinking the same about the the mounts not being in line ,but i'm also thinking if they did line up the floor tom leg and and the cymbal floor tom mount arm might clash together and that's why they dont line up.

i'm happy to know that i'm not stuck fixing new hole's in the floor tom , but now i'm stuck to buy the cymbal stand tom mount arm.
