Check out this bidding. they started at 75 and now it's up to 857.. the legs strike me as later than 1953.. Something is fishy about this one, eh. Or am I cynical

Hey i think they started at 75.00..

I have a 50's bd but the wrap was taken off but the legs are straighter than this one. I wonder if those aren't original...

I can't believe they got 1 g for this...

This is and was a rare drum it is a gretsch broadkaster model. the leg mounts and legs are gladstone mounts that are on the tom.

I guess I have a gladstone model floor tom as well. I had no idea how rare it was... Tell me did they vary between the l shaped leg and the straight leg.. I have the straight leg..

I'm surprised at the high price. The buyer must have wanted exactly that drum. I've never seen those legs on the 50's or even 60's floor toms. Even if the legs may not be original for that year and that drum the 3ply drum itself is a nice find if.... like I said ....the buyer needed that very drum.

I have a 16" ft with those Gretsch Gladstone Era leg supports.

Maybe I'll be selling it....

Thats what happens when I read without my glasses....

I suppose if that was the drum to complete your set it would be worth it.

Thanks
