For sale or trade-brand new Black Beauty Last viewed: 4 hours ago

Loading...

UPDATE: Willing to take $550 shipped.

I'll probably regret getting rid of this, but presently I'm more interested in completing my vintage kit. I just got this from Ludwig 2 weeks ago as a replacement for one I bought in June 2010 that the finish was flaking off of. So, it's brand new, never played. All I have done is swap the P85 that was on it for a P86 Millenium...I had upgraded mine to a P86 and they didn't send it back, so I got them to send me another one. I have the two P85s as well as the warranty card and drum key still in the unopened sleeve that came with the new drum. It's a 5x14. I spoke to the manager of Memphis Drum Shop and they sell a hammered 5x14 Black Beauty with tube lugs and P86 for $753.50. Again, this drum is brand new from Ludwig with the warranty card and some extra P85s and an extra Ludwig key. I'll entertain reasonable offers if anyone is interested.

Thanks for looking and PM me with any reasonable offers.

From backbeatkeeper

What are you looking for cymbal-wise.....size, weight, era?

Zildjian pre ink stamp..."Zildjian" ink stamp that is, but preferably pre-70s. Preferably two 18" thin crashes - 16, 17 or 19 will do depending on how good it sounds. Low-pitched and dark tends to please my ears.

I bought a late 60s sparkling green pearl Slingerland kit - couldn't pass a 20" kick and a 14" floor (funny thing is it's got a 13" rack). So, I'm also looking for a late 60s sparkling green pearl 8x12 and a matching snare.

I also have a 19" K Zildjian Dark Thin Crash Ride posted on the forum for sale - SOLD. Also, I have a B/O badge Acrolite with a Ludwig stand and case I'd trade or take $150 + shipping for. I'll be glad to post or e-mail pictures if anyone is interested.

Thanks! Somebody's going to save a lot of money, but it seems money is pretty scarce these days. It'll work out, I just have to be patient...but I'm not real good at that. Eye Ball

Indeed, it is a buyer's market for those with the funds. As I mentioned, I would be in the running but today I picked up a 40s WMP 14x12 tom to complete that RK kit. Now I have another drum needing tlc!

I am confident you will sell the BB, unfortunately, it may take going to feebay to get the size audience required to move it. Your drum is so beautiful I would hesitate to play it.

Man, you have to post pics of that kit when you're done!

The BB is definitely beautiful! As I said before, it is brand-new from Ludwig. I handled it with cotton gloves on when I swapped the strainer. So, any fingerprints belong to Ludwig assembly guys.

Slingerlynn, I'd advise you to edit your listing for future readers of this post, as in your first post, it says you would do a partial trade and now you're saying no trades?

Also to be fair, you show Fork's listing that snare for $848.25, but it's actually $819.00.

Here's a listing of others on eBay for comparison.
