I believe those old Trixie Luxus shells were beech, no re-rings. Punchy sounding drums. Great kit for gigging because the cymbal and tom arm collapse back into the bass drum. Much less junk to move around. Great price on these. Best of luck with your sale.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Yep you're right it's a great kit, beech no re-rings.. I've actually just changed my mind on these, so they are no longer up for sale.

I don't blame you man. If you love the sound of vintage drums, those old Trixies can really fill the bill. Play the hell out of them!

BTW, changing your mind isn't going to affect any future sales in the least. I pulled my Levon Helm style woody kit a few months ago after getting a bad case of sellers remorse. I've sold a bunch of stuff, kits, drums, parts, since then with no problems or 'complaints' at all.

Enjoy your Trixies... How about a couple of photos? I'd like to see them.

Not sure about that either. I've had seller's remorse and ended up selling stuff without issue in the past.

I'd love to see a photo of those anyway.

Nothing wrong with a change of heart. Better now than after they are gone. When I sold my old Slingerland kit it was a time in my life I thought I'd never play again. Wish I had those old tubs back.

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.
