is the drum is pre serial and has a factory round knob muffler, they are almost always brass. some of the pre serials with red felt mufflers are also brass but not all.

they seam to all be brass 63 and early as the ludaloy shell was in its experimental stage with the development of the acro etc so id venture to say some 63 and newer are ludaloy but some inventory gets out here a there some brass floats around and look for a b on the drum also its about 2 and 1/2 lbs heavy than the lud shell plus the rims are cob

i dont think the keystone models had the b stamp on them. i think that was a later b/o badge thing. someone correct me please if i am wrong about this.
