hi again...
I was putting the mufflers back into my new Vistalite kit early today,...
I got 4 mufflers along with the kit (i only need three) ... two of them fit perfectly (see 1st pic), the other two won't... please see the other two pics... somehow it looks like the inside hole is at the wrong place?!?! mountain hole are perfect.....
am i doing something substantially wrong?! Hmmmm

The pictures are a little hard to make out, but I see two possible problems:
1.) The metal arm that hold the felt pad might be a different style where the mounting screw went on top of the adjusting rod, -- OR --
2.) It may be as easy as bending the felt arm towards the shell a little. It does look like the felt is tipped inwards.

arghhh...... yep that was it... i was so hung up with the mufflers being original to the kit, that i didn't consider....
i tried a different muffler from a supra i had around, and yes, that does fit...
so now i just gotta get a replacement for the supra... hehe. thanks man!
