Blaemire project Last viewed: 3 minutes ago

Since I see there is at least some interest in Blaemire drums over here, I thought I would post a couple of recent projects.

I finished this 14X14 floor tom a couple of weeks ago. It has re-chromed original Blaemire lugs on it (rare rare!). These are the first B lugs I have used on a project and I have enough for a complete set, as well as 10 snare drum lugs.

Hey Jerry: could you shed some light about those Blemire lugs? where custom ordered by Mr. Blaemire himself or is this your creation?...

Jerry - great work, as always. Love the 14". The Blaemire lugs are so classy. Reminiscent of old Leedy lugs. Sleek, simple, classic design.

I have to get a set of those tubs by hook or by crook! Beautiful drum. How does it sound?

John

Too many great drums to list here!

(Sorry...I did not notice that this thread had been posted on)

Allen had his own lugs made. A small and medium tom/bass lug and a snare lug.

Here is the inside of one. You can see the AFB. Very cool!

I use Evans EC-2's and EC Resonate

These heads really make these fiberglass drums sound great. Very warm and at the same time very powerful if wanted.
