Another kit? Shall I? Last viewed: 7 hours ago

Maybe we are not the most....errrr.....sensible, balanced people to ask.

Unless, of course, you just want to be told you should!

(7 kits, and the eighth on its way. 12 snares. NOT a collector!)

Regards

I got these drums! I won the auction! Yeah baby! These should arrive in a week or so. Champagne Sparkle 1966 Ludwig Hollywood set up...22, 12, 13, 16.

Thanks for the input! These should be great!

Currently I have one Ludwig 60s kit that is wonderful. It was in great shape and sounds super. I've also had my Yamaha Maple customs since 1993. I've got the vintage Ludwig bug, and have my eye on one now. Should I do grab it!? Seems to be a decent deal for the 60s kit that it is, and a sparkle finish that I like. Later on, I do plan on grabbing a new Yamaha maple kit once more funds happen, possibly after taxes. This would make 4 kits and 13 snares,Does this sound reasonable???

Buy them if you know you'll kick yourself for not buying them. Justify nothing!!!

Oh...I'm not a collector either. I'm a player straight up! I do not make a living playing music, but rather it's a side thing. These will be used for gigs or at home to make a joyful noise! Anything I buy must be playable and sound great.

Play the snot out of them!!! Collecting is fun, but whats the point of collecting to never play them? That's why I don't own any mint kits- I am a player first!!!

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
