Far out! Things are a little hazy for me, but I think those drums were used on a censored Partridge Family episode. The one were Lori answers an ad placed by Russ Meyer...

I know I've heard others describe Citrus Mod wrap as "clown puke". These drums would seem to also fit in that category.;)BTW, I like Citrus Mod.

Pork Pie actually has a set called clown puke HAHAHA this is just crazy color combo.

Somehow I doubt that those drums were played by a spandex clad, hair and praise band drummer on a tour of mega churches throughout the South and Southwest.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

I got to thinking. This set may be ugly but it will surely get you noticed.

Plus it fits in well in the aesthetic of several genres.

-Hair Metal

-Whiny Pop Punk/Emo

-Metalcore

Really anything where the "scenester mullet" is acceptable (party in the front over the eyes, business in the back)

In the interests of their good name. Pork Pie should seriously buy them back and destroy them.

Man, what a waste of perfectly good burgundy sparkle wrap...

I also loved the comment about expecting clowns to jump out of them. LoLoLoLo

fungus - I think those drums are beyond ugly and fall well within the parameters of the 'FUGLY' classification.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

The pink hardware is just out of place on that kit. Black would have been better. But the pink is what kills it.

Pink hardware would actually have been cool with flat black drums. I wouldn't play a kit like that, but it would look cool onstage. I would rock a pink snare drum, however.

And to call it "clown puke" is an insult to clowns!!!

Yeah- I'm THAT guy!!!

Dead dogs like rusty fire hydrants!!!
