If they were high hat clutches how would they be tightened to the H/H rod?

In the pics I don't see any threaded hole for the Tee-Bolt.

The split in the tubing enables the knurled nut to compress the tubing to grip the hihat rod. I play an old Slingerland Epic hihat and my clutch is similar.

Yes these are clutch's from the 30's-40's..You would fine them on all hi-hats stands made by S/L.Ludwig,ete..I think the ones on the right in photo are "L" arm cymbal holders..I can't tell by the photo..I sell the clutch on the right for 15.00-20.00 cymbal tops for "L" arms if thats what they are same price.Mikey
