hey guys,
was wondering if anybody knew if 40's and 50's radio king t-rods would be interchangeable? am assuming nobody switched to metric at that point.
thanks,
adam

adam, interchangable with what? don't understand the question? all vintage american drums are standard threaded.
All except 1930's Leedy's and I'm sure,some early 1900's drums!
blair my 30's leedys are 12- 24 thread? as is my 1924 ludwig ludwig snare drum?
But,isn't the 30's Leedy snare the guy in Belgium just bought on here 10-24?

I just took a t-rod off my broadway standard 10/38 they are 12/24 threads, I just threaded it onto a 70's ludwig 402 and a 30's radio king. mine are 12/24 threads.
wow,
being around you guys, i feel like i know nothing. i just hit stuff with wood!
adam
The earlier Leedy drums took 10-24 trods; they switched to 12-24 like everyone else at a later time. I'm not sure when they switched; I think it was in the 30's.
