ahh....look closely though. The ink stains are over the effect. Kind of hard to do that yourself.

I like the look...but I'd hang it on my wall and look at it. I wonder if the color would patina over time. I really like the look of that cymbal a lot, though. Wish it wasn't so 'spensive!

I saw that. It does look like a chemical effect on the cymbal. Maybe an extra 50-100 bucks on the price might be fair IMO. (if that's all that really was involved). Cool if they could do some other colors maybe.
