Well, I know this will seem a bit nuts, but another deal came up and I'm putting these on the market. This is a very nice Ludwig standard kit in a blue mist finish, what makes this kit really special is that it has the classic lugs not the standard lugs. The toms also have the Ludwig classic tom mounts. There are no real issues, the wrap is tight, there is no fading and there is little to no pitting on the hardware, don't be afraid to make me a reasonable offer, thanks. 8x129x1316x1614x22$600 plus shipping

Last year I sold my blue strata standard kit (22,12,13,16) with classic lugs and matching snare on eBay for about 900. I believe it was an anomaly, as I've yet to see another kit go for that. I purchased it for next to nothing. So, when using eBay as a guide ... you're in some murky waters. You may as well just pick a number out of the air and slap it on the merchandise.

Check out the photos from our gig last night, this is one of the cleanest Ludwig kits I've seen and it looks pretty good with my Ludwig jazzfest silver sparkle snare. The Band

Well, what other guide is there? What's the value of a near mint Ludwig standard kit with classic lugs? I know it's more the $300 and less than $1,000. So, I priced it in the middle at $600.FYI Rockin Robin in Houston has one priced at $999 with the standard lugs.

What other guide? We are that guide. We have played and collected and restored vintage drums for many many years. Ask o-Lugs, VM2K, TommyP, or any of the other old dogs patrolling these waters. They are a great source of support.

Hey big guy, I don't have a dog in this fight. I'm just adding a bit of experience to the discussion. Personally, I think your price is excellent. It's a nice kit for good money. I don't want a blue mist Luddy, so I'm not in the running. Just post your item with lots of detailed pics and a good descriptive narrative and lock the stupid thing down and let it ride. Then you won't continue to have these inane threads that seem to be so prevalent under your username.

If you're patient, I think you'll get it. Nice kit and a fair price.
