It's not much and it's not all vintage but I think I'm getting the hang of it.My absolute favorite is my 1960 Ludwig pioneer. I play it more than any other. In the metal category, the Slingerland Gene Krupa Sound King Chrome over Brass is the overwhelming winner. I played the Supraphonic last night for the first time and I absolutely hated it. LOLI'm still trying to clear up some dates and information but attached is the list so far.

You hated the Supra! Did someone run over it or what? I have never heard anyone say that about a supra?

I've never played a 14x5 Supra that I've liked. I've owned probably 10 at this point, each time thinking that there was something wrong with me or the particular drum(s) I bought before. But, no. Really. I don't like LM400s. There. I said it. Anyone else?

Now, 402s on the other hand...Clapping Happy2

Amazing how that one extra inch makes all the difference in sound.Especially if its a brass shell.

I'm in the pool with Caddy on this sentiment - the 400's just don't do it for me either...
