16" 7 lug hoop?! Last viewed: 23 hours ago

Hey everyone!

I'm new to the Vintage drum forum. Figured this would be the best place for me to ask this question.

I have an old 68' Pearl Red Glass Glitter Deluxe kit. 14x22 bass, 9x13 tom, 16x16 floor tom, and a 5.5x14 snare matching. It has a few pieces missing. The most unusual thing I've seen from this kit is that is has a 16in Floor tom with 7 lugs. (That's right 7 lugs.) Never thought in my life I'd ever see it but I guess they had to make one.... Big problem is I've yet to have found one for sale. I have one for the batter side. But the resonant side is missing. I'm also looking for screws to fit in the old floor tom leg brackets, one silver script badge, and a matching bass hoop. Those are missing as well.

Anyone got any ideas?

i don't have one. sorry. but i post because i just bought a large lot of parts, and i have a 16" 10 lug hoop. i never knew a company made one like mine or yours.

if you have a chance to post a pic that would be cool. i'm just curious.

Yes it's true that Pearl made a 16" floor tom with 7 lug's..These rims are very hard to come by i Sold my last one 4 months ago..But can check with a friend i see if he has one..You are looking for the screws for the floor tom leg braket's Pearl used two types are your's the wing-screw or key type i have both types..I may have a badge i need to check this out...Mikey

Here's a pic of the kit. There are a few parts I managed to put on there until I can get more original parts. But like I said, The kit sounds great.
