I need one 18 inch wood hoop for a bass drum. Also could use a 16 inch wood hoop, as well. But the 18 inch is the most important. The color doesn't matter or what shape it is in, as long as it is functional. Please reply also by email to [email]dt@donthorpe.com[/email] -- Thanks

Haven't seen a message from Jonnistix. If you know the source let me know -- new or used, and I really need 2 as it turns out. Used and cheap is the key, they are for an unknown make floor tom shell that I want to convert to a bass drum, and see how it works.

Also, would like some simple suggestions for raising the 18' drum a little off the floor.

I foolishly sold an 18" Rogers shell, and now regret it. Oh well.

Much thanks, I'll order a couple from them. What's the difference between the Birch and the Maple hoops? I would have thought Maple would be better, but it is cheaper.
