The 6 ply Ludwig's shells are one of the best sounding set's i have..I also like the Modular mounts and stands you can set them up any way you like and make a truly custom set up....Mikey

Well, I hear someone got them! Was it you niggy? I have a slightly earlier late 70's 6ply kit in similar sizes but the bass drum is deep and the toms shallow – excellent sounding drums

Wow! word does travel fast, Yep, it was me! about an hour ago to be precise though have been in daily contact with the owner for the last week almost & we just neede tme to sort out shipping details. How'd you hear?

Ah ha! you must be the supraphonic off trademe nz? I suspected you where a kiwi, the "mate" bit gave it away though! :-) Yeah thanks, was a good score, quite mixed opinions about these Modulars though, but nevertheless I'm very happy with them & looking forward to rebuilding them. Be good to keep in touch, I'll post more piccies very soon.
