I have an opportunity from a private seller that contacted me about this snare. What could it be, and what is it worth, in As Is condition? I do not know if the strainer is original or not, but certainly appears to be. I am awaiting some better pix. It is a 10 lugger, so it must be a quality drum. Please make replies via PM, thanks! I know, but you gotta understand, sometimes people look for bargains, and also are fishing for better info, so PM would be best for my situation.

Sorry, these are the best pix I have at the moment.

looks to be either a late 20's super-ludwig stiplegold, or a ludwigold snare.

i bet that is black paint on the shell.... if cleaned it should reveal the correct color of the shell..

GET IT. BUY IT NOW. seriously.

Looks like a late 20's-30's Super Sensitive Ludwig with several extra holes. The big one was probably for a heater. Looks like someone painted the shell and hoops, but can't tell for sure from the photos. The extra holes would be a deal killer for me.
