I would politely adjust the call on this one. It appears to be a B303 from about 76. The spurs are the variable.

Spurs look just like my Gigmaker kick drum's spurs, but I have been wrong before.

I am still in love with this kit.

I was going by this cat view. The sizes and mount and floor mounts and such are correct. The little bits and such all seem to fit this model. I found a few things incorrect with the Gigmaker from this era ... straight spurs and such. I, too could be wrong. Heck, I've been wrong before ... 1971 ... June ... I think it was a Saturday ... I honestly thought it was lettuce on that sandwich. I mean, who puts arugula on a ham sandwich??? ... come on ... really?

Here's the cat that shows the Gigmaker setup. It's a model from the 70s.

As far as African Mahogany or Birch??? Well .... it really depends on who's playing the kit. I like African Mahogany much much better than Birch. I would have to say that I'm in the minority on this one. I've had both and have developed my take on the subject. Most drummers like the sharp attack and reduced mids of the Birch. I like the deep deep lows and warmth of the African Mahogany. It's honestly something you really should experience before you make a call. They are very different woods and produce very different sounds.

That depends on your ear. I like mahogany and birch. For me, birch is a slightly brighter sound. But this is no absolute as far as sound descriptions.

If I were spec'ing my own custom drum kit, I would have mahogany for the floor toms and birch for the rack toms. That's actually what I have on my mongrel Premier kit.

I'll be darned. I was told a birch kick drum with the spurs you show from the non-Gigmaker catalogue page was a Gigmaker. Maybe they changed the spurs by the year my drum was made? I am no Premier expert by any means, just have lusted after their kits since the days of Keith Moon and Clem Burke

Yes, Premier mahogany shells and birch shells in particular are night and day. Don't forget the birch re-rings on Premier mahog kits, as they sound a bit different than a typical mahog shell...
