im trying to figure value for the 5x14 and the 5.5x14 65 models is there a major difference in the # made and if so i know the Ringo snare is 5.5 x14 but the sound is also noticeably deeper so goes reason its worth more but how much more im debating a trade for a 14x 14 ft with a blue/olive badge supra ludaloy very good condition the jazz fest is a museum piece
jazzfest
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp
once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

To my knowledge, all the Jazz Festivals were supposed to be 5" depth but
in reality all were somewhere between 5" and 5-1/2". I'm told that the shell
depth varied and it just depended on what shell was picked up from the stack.
FYI, I sold a 'museum quality' 5-1/2" Champagne sparkle Jazz fest for $700.00
plus shipping about 6 months ago. I have several but they're all 5" + or -. I
know that there are some 5-1/2s out there but I think they're fairly rare.
Hope this helps.
