Hello all. New the forum, so i've got a three part question here i'm hoping you guys can help me out with. I'm looking for a Ludwig 18x20 (depth x diameter) floor tom (year doesnt matter, must be maple)1-Does anyone have one they would be willing to sell, or know where to get one?2-Do these pop up on ebay often/are they very rare?3-Could I mount some floor tom leg mounts on an 18x20 kick drum? (I'm assuming the bearing edges are going to be a bit different from a kick and a floor tom, dunno.)Phew, I think thats it :P Any info is greatly appreciated.

I know this is an old thread. But, I have a 20x16 (or 18 possibly) Ludwig 6 ply maple shell in a red mahogany stain that is part of an 11 piece double bass kit I am selling.

I only have 1 head on it even though I have the bottom hoop. Most music stores do not stock 20 tom heads.

I am thinking about listing the 20" on ebay, but I am not excited about the shipping aspect. I just shipped an 18" floor tom and it was pricey as it ended up being a little oversized because of the box I used. Sending it via UPS store was cheaper than USPS, and I probably could have some money by dropping it directly with UPS from what I have been told.

an old friend of mine in high school (back in the 70's) had a white marine Ludwig kit that he added an 18x20 floor tom to.

didn't Roger Taylor from Queen use a floor tom that size on the first couple of Queen albums along with his 9x13, 16x16 and 14x26 black Ludwig kit....i'm pretty sure he did.
