Any Rogers drum produced after 1984 is crap.

If it doesnt have USA on the badge, it is not worth shipping here........ not to mention shipping to your country.

this is the snare, with USA on the badge! but there's not the snare frame and the original resonant hoop... I'm trying to find them.. if anybody can help me!

Aprox. 1980-81, Dynasonic with correct era parts on the shell. Neither hoop is Rogers.

For a frame with wires........ originals or replacements, 100-200.00 USD. I know that is a fairly wide price range, but it is what it is.

For correct hoops...... 100.00 USD for the pair.

I dont have them, but that is what you can expect to pay. If you get them for less, its a good deal.

I also think that drum was under water. I wonder what the white felt looks like.

I believe you would better serve yourself finding a completed drum at 250.00 USD, cut your losses on this one, and keep the lugs and throwoff for spares.

When it'll arrive I decide what to do, maybe I'll try to sell it here in Italy at the same price that is good... I found a snare frame on ebay for 70/80$ (about 50€).

Here in Italy a complete Dyna is sold for 450€ (630$) (if you don't believe watch here: http://www.mercatinomusicale.com/mm/a_ROGERS-DYNASONIC-BIG-R-RULLANTE-VINTAGE_id1847131.html ) so, if I sell my incomplete dyna for 200€ (280$) is a good deal for me and for the italian prices... I dunno.. It depends also from the condition of the snare.. I'll try to clean it and see what I can obtain from it!

Hi everybody!

I just received the bottom hoop and the snare frame from Aldrewmusic on ebay ( this one is the auction: http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290578034270 )

Now I have some questions for you:

1- In the box I received the tension adjustment screw is separated from the snare frame, is that normal? ( I never seen a dynasonic in person so I don't know exactly how it works)..

2- I found the explanation on how to tune and set it.. Anyone of you who have it can do a video of the snare frame and how it is on the hoop?
