Vintage Slingy? Last viewed: 4 hours ago

Loading...

I just noticed this snare on e-Bay, advertised as a "vintage" Slingerland: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140493673994&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Based on the Slingy badge on the shell, it appears that it's either from the 1989-1994 time-frame (Spirit/Artist Series drums) or the 2000-2003 period (Jam Slam, Concert King drums). Certainly NOT vintage by any stretch of the imagination or am I mistaken?

My guess is early 90s. If you consider Pearl Jam to be a Vintage rock group, then I gues you've got a leg to stand on calling this snare Vintage.
