What is the definitive look of "Peacock Pearl"? Last viewed: 1 hour ago

I was looking at Mike Curotto's collection on another thread and when it came to the Peacock Pearl examples, they all looked different. Some looked very bright green and others looked kind of pinkish/purple. Since real peacocks are known for their iridescent blue and green colored feathers. I assume the drums with the most green in them are the closest to what the finish was supposed to look like when it was new....and catalog examples from back then were less than accurate. What's the best, clearest, least-faded example of Peacock Pearl? What is the definitive PP? Thanks

There was more than one Peacock run and they varied a bit. I'm not the expert on this one. I just remember viewing the originals and the samples digitally. There might be something on this in the Cook books.
