Now you have me thinking about those shelves. I could replace my 1' deep shelves with some deeper shelves for myself for christmas! x-mas3

I keep threatening myself to go buy a couple of those shelving systems.....I can get one for about $70 at North Tools....Looks like the solution for my particular situation.Till I move to a HOUSE !!ThanksKev:Santa:

I really think that is the best, I've got a bud or two that budget in the cost of a case for every drum they buy.

I don't budget for cases, but I've accumulated a bunch of cases (read: looked for deals/scores on cases, just like for drums). Right now, I have 3 kits (DW, Ludwig, Ludwig) for me and a Gretsch round badge to restore, all in cases. Plus, I have enough cases to house 2 more kits plus some orphans to restore, just sitting and waiting.

I'm currently waiting for the "post-Christmas-but-before-Valentine's-Day" shopping season on craigslist. Best deals to be had this time of year. Everyone getting rid of their old kits, either because they just got a new one for Christmas, or because they need funds to buy that engagement ring. Anyone living in Portland, disregard what I just said... :D

Caddy, we're on the same page. Not too many wives would put up with that so you guys have got it good. Hold onto them wives!! I'm currently in negotiations for second kit, couple more snares, few more cymbals ... I'm told if I can find space to store it all, we'll talk. I'm gonna put forward Poppy's teepee method. I'll see how that goes over. I'm not optimistic ...
