Supraphonic lug replacement

That happened to me. I tried using plumbers tape on the original screw. Tightened it down but didn't torque it real tight. It's been holding for about...

Blow dryer or Heat gun?

John is correct. I've done 3 seams exactly like he recommends and it worked perfect every time. Good advice!

WFL 8x15 Mahogany Snare, worth fixing?

I'm interested in seeing the repair also. I have a shell just like that one with the same, even worse, damage. I'd like to see what you did. Thanks.

Re-Wrapping My Gretsch

What you have there looks fine. Nobody will know the difference if you don't mention it. I wouldn't mess around with it. The drums are beautiful.

The drums look beautiful! Good job! I'm not sure what you think your blooper is. Only thing I see is one badge is shinier than the other?

I don't think you should keep it. I think you should sell it to me. ;) Nice drum. I remember when they came out with those. They are cool drums.

Tough Lesson Leaned at my gig

+1 on the duct tape. A drummer's best friend. You can make all kinds of fast temporary repairs to keep the show going. Carried it for years.

Show your Slingerland Radio King kits thread.

Wow! That is an awesome snare drum. I'm looking for one just like that but in Black Diamond Pearl.

Ludwig Clubdates loud enough for outdoor gig?

In my opinion, the Clubdates should work just as well as any other. The problem you may run into is if the bass drum will carry. I think that's a prob...
