Mid-60's Ludwig Mod Orange Downbeat w/ Video
It's a re-wrap, but I'm really happy with the way it came out. It'll be used for The Doors band I play in called Break On Through. I'm still working out how to tune it like Densmore had his without taking the resonate head off.

If you want concert tom sound without taking the bottom hoops off, just cut out most of the bottom heads and leave just a strip wide enough to cover the bearing edge.

BTW......I just listened to several of your "tunes" on youtube and just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the sound of your band. Thanks for sharing!

The kit turned out great.
I also viewed some of your videos. Great looking and sounding kits in your collection. You definitely have the Bonham mojo going on. Are you aware that you did the typical "Bonham exhale & roll your lips" at the end of the Ludwig Amber Vistalite John Bonham Rip-Offs video.
