Default Acrolite Original Wires

Looking for any info verifiable on
Original factory Acrolite wires.
I have an Acrolite in mint condition from
1980-1982 or so but not sure if the wires thats on it now are the OEM part or model.
the Acrolite I had years ago had several wire changes
in it's history so I never knew what would've been OEM for it. The wire on this one I have now
are 12 stranded with thick plastic ends
that have blue ink that says [PAT. 2517124].

I believe the plastic ended ones are the original part.

Yes that's the original... Note that the number is the patent for the plastic ends... (and also used on others eg; 20 strand's)
Cheers

Is there any documentation to be found to verify OEM part number or at least description for the original wires? Thanks for a speedy reply to the post.

The ends are stamped with Ludwig, I'm wondering if these are original to this drum, I think they probably are will be the Ludwig weather master reso head.

I've detailed and sold a lot of those Acrolites. Occasionally i see the metal end wires on them, but not usually. Most from that era have the white plastic ends with the 2517124 patent number. Most of 12 strand. But i have seen some that are 20 strand models.

I agree with Mike. I believe the plastic end snare wires are OEM. I don't think your going to find printed documentation.

The plastic ended Ludwig snare wires are my favorite wires of all time, somehow they sound better to me than the metal script logo wires...
