So I will be attempting my first zoomatic knob press fit and looking for some advice.

1st question: Would turning the pressure fitted washer around improve adjustment sensitivity?

2nd question: Should I put a rubber washer between the knob and the strainer?

3rd question: Plumbers tape? Metal graphite bonding? And a rubber mallet? Or could I put it in a table top vice grip (with cushion)?

I will post a video regardless of the outcome. But thought I should ask a few questions first.
