FYI...Drum was made on South Division Ave here in G.R.,right across from what is a Salvation Army store now,if you want to Google it to get an address.

South D Ave is where all the hookers USED to stand in the pre Internet days............you would see 10-15 of em if you went all the way down South D back in the day!

The York site is a empty field now...Drum is circa early 1900's.

Here are a couple pic's of a York snare drum I recently found. It even came with the sticks! It will clean up nice.

I all seriousness that's a REALLY REALLY cool piece. Congrats on scoring that!!

Wow! very cool but will just cleaning something that old depriciate the value? I myself would like to see how it cleans up but sometimes you hear people say to leave it as is. If you do clean it up please share an after pic with us.
