In what year did they switch from Streamline to Beavertails?
Also,is it possible to have Streamline lugs, and a aluminum cloud badge on same drums? Seems late for Streamlines....

Bump...
Someone knows..
I KNOW IT!LoLoLoLo
Blair I'm far from a expert but Mark Coopers site states the Streamline lugs were used on snares until 1955. And on bass drums and toms from 1938-1948.
Here's Mark's site and it has a TON of info. This is the Slingerland lug page.....
Thanks...
Ok..what year did they stop using clips over the rims?
That's something I'd like to know also. On toms it seems maybe mid to late 40's. Some snares like the student models I think had clips well into the 50's. But seems the upper end RK's and such got holed hoops in the early 40's. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.
Rims got holes in 1938. AFAIK...
Rob Cook... The Slingerland Book... best $30.00 you will ever spend if you want information on Slingerland drums.
