all i read the new yorker came with a 14 x 20 from 61 to 67 so that's my cats, that's what they say so go figure /...and it was introduced in 61 /62 ,67 /68 cat still shows it and my 80 cat does not show it anymore so that 78 so who has another cat and in 61/62 it had the disappearing cymbal arm

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

wow, look at the sideviews on each of our new yorker kicks, theres barely any room between lugs on mine.on yours theres room for your l arm cymbal mount w room to spare.i dont think that mount would even fit between my lugs.maybe the spacing was different but maybe you got the 22x14,just a strange observation.and i looked all day to find stray white paint inside my kick, either it came with a natural interior,or someone simply let it out of the factory unpainted, lol now im scratching my head

Of the catalogs we have access to on the Drum Guide, the only year the New Yorker bass was not a 22x12 is in '67.
