my name is Paul Lehr.

I own old Slingerland drums and would like to known about the year they were produced.

The serial numbers make me think that they are about 40 years old.

I bought that drumset second hand from a friend in 1979.

He had bought it from a company selling musical instruments called

“ Hummel “in Frankfort on Main.

I have used the drums at a lot of events since 1979 up to now.

I am very fond of the sound, that is why I still own them.

Now the serial numbers:

snare Drum: 251043

base “ : 301463

small Tom : 396951

big “ : 293780

standing “ : 294261

I could not find any serial numbers on the Hi-Hat as well as foot pedal part. Please look at my pictures. Or ask for more pictures.
