Hi Gents,

I will be grateful.

PS Snare and stands are not from this set.

What are all of the drum sizes and did you look at the catalogs we have available here? The catalogs are a great reference to start your research.

This appears to be the correct set, and era. If you look at some of the other pages in this catalog, you will see the badge design. Are the shells like a 6 ply for the toms and 9 ply for the bass? The badge place the kit squarelyin the 60s.

So with pleather wrap, there is no telling, my bet would be a year after Ludwig introduced the Black Panther...? It would make sense if they saw the opportunity to jump on that bandwagon. What year was that, say 67, 68? And there is no reference in the catalogs to that color. Oh, I guess there is no timeline from 69-78, so let's say the era would be sometime before the badge switch, which at this point is unknown.

Does Yamaha have it listed in the history pages?

Mikey, the catalogs show that badge in the 60s, and not in the 78 and later catalogs. Not a peep of it anywhere past the 69 catalog Dave has online.
