I have a request.......

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone, and hopefully everyone, who owns a Early 80s Rogers XP10 snare drum in any depth 5", 6.5", or 8", Dynasonic or Superten, would please be so kind as to assist me in this project.

I wish to measure bed depth. I know this means a partial disassembly and possibly fussing up a working perfect tuning. Just remember I have to do this EIGHT TIMES. I would also appreciate the first 4 digits of serials, although, if the drum has been posted here before, I probably have them. With the two I have measured so far, I came up with identical measurements. Please be careful. I certainly dont want anyone ruining a bearing edge doing something that isnt that extremely important. This weekend I will be pulling the snare side off the other six drums and posting all of those measurements at the same time.

This could have some importance for us who do seek these drums.... we can know if they have been *********.
