Wrapping drums

I am looking for information about how to wrap my mid-80's Ludwig set. I don't want to remove the original covering rather, just wrap them in a different color. If anyone has done this please help me through the process. Thank you!

Unless you wrap them in a vinyl film, you will likely have trouble fitting new heads and the rims on the expanded diameter.

I have done the vinyl wrap, but it is not hard to damage it in everyday use.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. Where did you get your vinyl film? Did you have any issues with removing and replacing the badges?

Most any sign shop should be able to help with the vinyl choice. Depends on the badges. Not too have, usually slice under them to release if glued.
