Please limit the eBay links.. Add photos and some detail. That eBay link will go away and later when someone finds the post they will have no idea what it is about.

They look like new Chinese-made-component drums. I see nothing vintage about them at all.

Those aren't vintage. Those are new. They might be real Luddy's though, not sure. I know he has a set of green sparkle that are Asian. I should have said this in my earlier post.

Chinese ? on the Bonham kit

the monts in the floortons are LUDWIG "CLASSIC" MOUNT, the lugs are classic large lugs, the spurs are the classic curved” Bass Drum spurs, and the shells are classic maple and the finish is black galaxy... I dont think ( and dont see ) that its a chinese - made componet drums....

It's clearly an American Made Classic Maple kit.

I know this is a vintage forum, but have any of you guys played Classic Maples? They sound freaking awesome. Much warmer and rounder than the typical new-age DW type of drums. They're also well priced. Ludwig has really pulled things together again, and paired with the Legacy's, they are making incredible drums with mojo once again.

I see those bass drum spurs and I immediately look the other way. They might be put together in America....maybe the shells are American made. All I'm saying is that they don't look like American made drums...because anything with those spurs screams Chinese-made-component, to my eye. It's one of the first things I look for on any new drum set.

I'm not even saying they are "bad" drums. I'm sure they are very nice and all.... But this is a vintage drum forum and those are obviously new drums even from 100 feet away.

*Edit* Okay, the big bass drum spurs look cool. The claws and key rods, do NOT! And, are those GASKETS under the lugs? SHAME! :)
