hi y'all,

am new to these forums but have been using them as a resource for some time!

i have a set of radio kings with wood hoops that i've always wondered about. it's the aluminum cloud badge and the mufflers which i took off years ago are reddish. hard to tell. but was wondering if people could chime in on whether it's pre or post-war. or just how slingerland went about things in those days. haven't seen any other kits in this finish and not many with wood hoops that weren't bombers.

anyway, any info i could get would be wonderful. thanks so much!

I saw a kit simular to this at the 2010 chicago drum show. There is a hardly visible pic of it in group 2 of the pictures under and behind a purple table cloth. That is a sweet kit you have there.

so there are other ones out there. i've been searching for some time. i wish i had the snare. maybe one will stroll past at some point in my life.

does anybody know the name of that finish? is it a blue diamond pearl or faded black diamond? i'm a wee bit colourblind.
