Whiny NOVUS Q: buffer ... Last viewed: 1 day ago

Okay, do I need a $%*#$@% buffer to use Novus or should I start bodybuilding? I am using #3 to smooth out some snare dings/rash of a Ludwig CD tom & my fingers + hand are statue-stiff. I wouldn't even want to sit down & play my real kit right now,

Get the buffer.

I got this little gem after suggestion here from a member. It is nice in that it will not burn like some of the other buffers out there. Used it on a blue Vistalite as well as a Blue Oyster Pearl wrap and even on a SS Ludwig.

the #3 takes an act of the all mighty to remove !! Use #2 and windex to cut through #3. I use it only #3 when I absolutely have to.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

What he said...

I avoid the stuff like a root canal....

2 & 1 are all you usually need...just 2 ..if it comes right down to it...

Great! I was using #3 as if it were Jesus. Now I have to go past the middleman to the Almighty!?! Double-%@&! Have I ruined the stupid tom?

So, before I sick the buffer on it w/ #2 (thanks jinx, by the way, for that tip) ... do I simply run it in intervals so no overheating until rash is gone? Then cleanup w/ #1?

Thanks as usual for all the kind help - Chris

Maybe I am doing it wrong but I have never had an issue with #3 and I just rub it off. Actually, I squeeze it on from the bottle, generally two panels at a time unless it is a small drum. Then a rub it in with a cotton cloth. Once I get it down to the nitty gritty as it were, I rub it off with a clean cotton cloth. Repeat with #2 and then spray and wipe with #1.

No, I am not über strong. Mildly wimpy as a matter of fact.
