Hi Guys,

Ive been offered (what im told) is an earlyh 60s Slingerland 3 piece (13,16,22) kit, with what is described as a brown finish on the inside of the shells. Rob Cooks book says this was a mid 60s finish to the interiors, not an early sixties finish. Can anyone qualify which is which?

1966 to 1970 for the chocolate milk interiors according to Dr. Wenk's article in the Drum Guide.

I have seen earlier and later painted interiors done aftermarket....all were too dark, and hiding issues.
