I didn't really ask. He said he read some posts here about it and changed his mind. No big deal. I just cancelled the UPS label and re-listed it on eBay. I contacted the person who bought the rest of the set last year when I sold it but I have not heard back from him yet. Might be nice to re-unite the set.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement throw handle for the Clamshell strainer?

Man sorry to hear the deal went bad. That a really nice drum and great price too!! Yes you can get a replacement handle from Emory at Drumatix. He sells them in chrome and nickel finish. They are very nice I bought one for mine. A real gentleman to deal with also.
