There's a 7 pc double bass kit listed on ebay. I don't know much about Rogers drums except that when I was a kid my friends brother had a gorgeous kit and I've always wanted one. Is this a good kit, what's it made of?
says it was made by yamaha?

Yes,made by Yamaha, not the same as American Rogers. The snare is first generation, they changed the design later on.I believe the snare is chrome on brass, similar to the American Powertone. It has an American Rogers throw ,similar to but not the same as the Powertone but the guts and hole spacing are the same as is the lug hole spacing the same as the beavertail lugs.Nice sounding drum.Don't know anything about the wood shells, sorry.
Those are nice nice drums and worth every penny of the $300 of the current bid.
They were Rogers economy line. I played a set around 1971 and thought they were pretty good. The hardware seemed to be regular Rogers stuff.
That kit looks Frankenstein'd with the Ludwig tom stand (what's on the toms?) but there's a lot of stuff there so it might be a good deal.

Toms were moded to fit luddy mount. I'm bidding but not sure how high I'll go.
Probably shouldn't have said that here, but if it was meant to be I'll get them.
and if not, oh well.
391.25. Good deal. Was that you? Nice grab, if so.
I really like the looks of it!
Just about to up my bid when I noticed shipping of 250.00 and I hesitated and lost it. Now I'm doubting myself.
But thanks man.
