This might sound odd, but lately I have been selling off some of my vintage collection and investing those scoots into growth mutual funds for the future. I realize this is somewhat off topic, but figured I'd throw this out there any how.

I personally don't buy gear for myself as a player with any kind of future resale value in mind, I buy gear to play and enjoy now and if it's worth more when I go to liquidate then cool :)
