Hey all. New to the forum! Nice to meet you all. I'm a studio guy that collects random vintage instruments. I was giving this drum a while back and finally pulled it out and cleaned it up. Unfortunately the badge is missing and I can't seem to match up the lugs with anything in the Internet. Can anyone identify the make and vintage of it? It's a 12" x 8" tom. 6 lug .12-24 thread. See the pics.
What make drum is this?
From the looks of it is a non Star Hoshino.

Yes - I agree guys. I must say though - that interior is intriguing. More pics?

I have an MIJ "Olympian" kit with that same interior, mount, lugs and "Hockey Stick" wing screw. Those wing screws are the same as Premier and Olympic wing screws. TO CLARIFY: I'm speaking of an MIJ "Olympian", not to be confused with "Olympic" which were made by Premier in England, even though they use the same wing screws. My Olympian drums say "Japan" on the badges. Anything Olympic should say "England".
Clear as mud?
Same shell and hardware as my late 60's Crown kit!

Hmmm. So looks a MIJ kit. Can you guys furnish badge pics? This has no badge but some of the glue is still there resembling a shape. Possibly an oval with the vent hole offset.
The issue with providing the right badge for this kit is there were so many. And this being the other Hoshino that isn't associated with Star, we only know a couple names that went along with them. Crown being the main one. The other options ( that I'm 95% sure of ) are Blackjack, Globe, Stewart, & Vibra.
